Terms of Service

This website and store are operated by BRRENS FASHION PLANET, a sole proprietorship owned by Periyasamy Ketheeswaran, of No 65, Sivan Temple North Road, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, registered under the Business Names Ordinance (Cap. 149) with the Registrar of Business Names, Jaffna District under No. J/DS/03/BR/1844/2020. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean BRRENS FASHION PLANET; “you” means the person placing an order or using the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract, and you must give accurate contact and delivery details. You are responsible for activity on your order and for keeping your contact details reachable.

We try to show colours, materials and details as accurately as we can, but screens vary and slight differences are normal. Hand-worked and traditional pieces vary naturally from one to the next. Stock is limited and availability is not guaranteed until we confirm your order.

Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any applicable taxes. Delivery is charged separately at checkout based on your district and added to the total. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already confirmed.

Online payments are handled by PayHere (cards, online banking and mobile wallets). We also accept cash for purchases made in the store. We do not store your card details.

After you pay you will see an order confirmation. That confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order — it is not acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we have verified payment and stock and dispatched the item.

We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if there was a pricing or description error, or if we cannot verify payment. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund that item in full.

Because we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind or a wrong size choice, you are responsible for checking, before you pay:

• the item, size, colour and quantity;
• the size guide on the product page;
• your delivery address, city and district.

If you are unsure, message us on WhatsApp at +94 755 279 110 before ordering. At checkout you confirm that you have done this.

We deliver islandwide across Sri Lanka through a third-party courier. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave. If no one is available to receive the parcel, the courier’s re-delivery terms apply.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are covered by our Return & Replacement Policy, which forms part of these terms. Change-of-mind and wrong-size returns are not accepted.

Custom embroidery, stitching and alterations are quoted individually and confirmed with you on WhatsApp. Work begins once the design and price are agreed and any deposit is paid. Made-to-order work cannot be cancelled or refunded once it has started, except where the finished work is defective or does not match what was agreed. Completion times are estimates.

You agree not to use the site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or overload it, copy its content or images for your own commercial use, or place orders fraudulently. We may refuse or cancel an order, or withdraw access to the site, where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

All content on this site — text, photographs, graphics, and the BRRENS FASHION PLANET name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

The site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The “last updated” date is shown at the top of this page.
